Amanda Fisher grew up surrounded by beautiful things, and by the people who made them. Her mother owns a high-end linen and home accessories store and designed several family residences, so Amanda spent her childhood among fine fabrics, finished rooms, and the many decisions it takes to make a house feel like home. That early education trained her eye in a way no classroom could.
Amanda began her career as a licensed realtor specializing in high-end homes, where she learned how buyers respond to a space and what makes a property stand apart. In 2018 she took on the design and build of her own home, and the experience showed her a clear gap in the market. Homeowners building new could find architects and builders easily enough. What they couldn't find was a designer who would guide them through every stage of construction, from the first plans to the final finishes.
She founded Amanda Fisher Designs to fill that gap. Today her focus is new-construction homes in Birmingham, Michigan, where she has built several market-topping residences in the sought-after Quarton Lake subdivision. Each one draws on both sides of her background: a designer's sense of how a home should feel, and a realtor's understanding of what gives it lasting value.
Amanda also consults on large-scale renovations and home refreshes, bringing the same full-process approach to clients who are reimagining the homes they already love. Whether she's starting from an empty lot or an existing house, her goal stays the same: a home that is beautifully designed, carefully built, and entirely her client's own.
